Thanks to your discussions on the philosophy of freedom we are much more conscious of moral intuition, moral imaginations and moral techniques, and how external standards can be internalized in the process of moral freedom And especially how it relates to all things volitional.

Conscience was external at the time of the furies however, has gradually grown to be internalized. I am sure there is much higher wisdom regarding this important evolution in consciousness, which goes far beyond a feeling of shame. Thank you for the encouragement to look into it as well as the depths of the I which goes far beyond anything synonymous with the higher I, our angel, or knowing ABOUT God And Christ consciousness. Dare I say merry Christmas or happy Hanukkah!?

Yes this is only meant to speak to our time of the consciousness soul. And I don’t think shame and guilt are the same thing. Shame seems to me to have more to do with feeling like we have not lived up to other people’s standards, while guilt is more interiorized and has to do with not living up to our own sense of what is Just, True, Good, etc.
